
TRE Beginners Course – A 4-Session Journey to Releasing Tension
This foundational 4-session course introduces you to the powerful practice of Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE)—a simple yet deeply effective way to release stored tension, stress, and trauma from the body.
Throughout the course, you’ll:
✅ Learn the science behind TRE and how it helps reset the nervous system
✅ Explore gentle exercises that activate your body’s natural tremor response
✅ Develop body awareness and self-regulation techniques to ensure a safe and supportive experience
✅ Gain confidence in using TRE as a self-care tool for long-term stress relief
This course is a prerequisite for joining our TRE-Infused Yoga Sessions, as it prepares you to fully experience and integrate the practice in a way that is safe, effective, and empowering.
This 4-session beginners course, 75 minutes per session, will cost £25 per session, payed the 4 sessions in advance £90 .

HOW IT WORKS:

2. Sign up on the schedule page (right here)
3. Get your link in the confirmation email (plus a reminder 15 minutes before class starts)
4. You’ll be admitted from the “waiting room” at the time of class.
5. Your video can be on or off. All participants will be muted when class begins. Practice along and enjoy.

About Yoga teacher&TRE provider Mary
Mary is a dedicated Yoga Teacher (500hrs) and certified TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) provider with a passion for supporting others in aging with vitality and joy—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Originally from the Netherlands, she divides her time between her home country and the Scottish Highlands, embracing a life of gratitude and connection.
With a Master's degree in Sociology (1991) and another in Chinese Language, Culture, and Literature (2006), Mary has long been drawn to Eastern philosophies. Her journey into yoga began during her studies, eventually leading her to complete a 500-hour teacher training at the Yoga Academy Netherlands in Amsterdam in 2015. A member of the Dutch Yoga Association, she has since deepened her expertise through various specialized trainings, including face yoga, pelvic floor health, breast care, fascia work, and nervous system relaxation. In 2024, she earned her certification in Yoga for Posture Improvement and became a TRE provider, integrating this powerful practice into her work.
Through yoga and TRE, Mary has built flexibility, strength, and resilience, guiding herself and others through life's challenges. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge and helping individuals cultivate well-being in body and mind.
